Our Story
WazzoPay was founded in Freetown with a simple belief: every person in Sierra Leone deserves access to modern financial tools — not just those living near a bank branch. What started as a mobile money transfer service has grown into a full digital banking platform serving over 500,000 users across all 16 districts.
Our founders saw firsthand how mobile phones could bridge the financial inclusion gap. By combining local understanding with world-class technology, we built a platform that lets anyone send money, pay bills, buy insurance, and access credit — all from their phone.
Today, WazzoPay partners with the Bank of Sierra Leone, major telcos, utility providers, and a network of 1,000+ agents to deliver financial services that are fast, affordable, and secure for individuals, businesses, and merchants alike.
